Well, the month of April was a particularly hot one. May seems to be giving no respite from the heat. The one cool way to stay away from the heat has been to stay indoors and work on your favourite robotic projects. And this is something most of our Kidobotikzians have taken note of and followed with intent. There has been quite an inflow in terms of the number of project submissions that was made this month.

Totalling in the hundreds, we at Kidobotikz are spoilt for choice when it comes to evaluating such innovative and interesting projects.

We are back with this month’s cool innovators.

So, after a lot of video watching and combing through entries, we are finally here at the moment of truth.

So, who is the Young Creator of this month??

Well, we at Kidobotikz cannot get enough of this maverick maker’s projects. He has been a vibrant participant ever since the first edition of the Young Creator series. However, he had wait his turn as there were several spectacular submissions throughout the preceding months. And this time, his simple and rather very interesting project clinched him the contest.

Surya Mutharasu, who dazzled us all with his a “Walking Robot” wins the title of "Young Creator of the Month" for the month of April !

A Class 6 student of SBOA Junior College, he has displayed ingenuity in making this unique project. He had just used components from his beginner level robot and made a unique walking robot "CIBOT". By binding together the gears on two BO motors and harnessing their elliptical motion, he had mimicked bipedal motion. His ingenuity lay in making the Hiwatt batteries as the feet of the robot.

Check out his entry in the video shared below and make one for yourself and your friends ! !

Now, if you wanna be one of those winners in the next edition, follow these steps ! !
