Kidobotikz in association with Mar Ivanos Vidya Nagar conducted a robotics workshop for students from 24th-26th April. The workshop was organized to offer basic understanding of robotics to the students

Close to 150 students took part in the workshop which was the first of its kind in the city of Trivandrum. The workshops were designed in such a way that the students received a full rounded understanding of the concepts. 

The workshops were of two types. The Circuit Building Workshop was based on Kidobotikz’ “Starter” Kit and gave the learners a practical understanding of various electronic components such as real time sensors, switches,etc. They were also introduced to concepts of circuit building and circuit debugging techniques. 

The Logical Robot Workshop was based on the “Logic” Bot Kit and helped learners  understand the concepts of Logic and basic circuitry.

Each student took part in both the workshops and thereby had a strong foundation in the concepts of electronics.

After the two day workshop, the third day was the project expo event where all students were encouraged to take part in.

The students created unique projects and submitted them. All the projects were displayed and saw a great deal of innovation built into them. The faculty of the institution were impressed upon seeing such young children develop such innovative projects
