Team Kidobotikz has been called many-a-things. We’ve been called Educators, we’ve been called Innovators, we’ve even been called Influencers. But the one term we actually call ourselves and prefer to associate ourselves is not as firebrand as what the rest of the world calls us- ENGINEERS.

Yes, at heart, we are dedicated and devoted engineers. From engineering high tech solutions for the industry, to democratising tech for the average farmer to developing kits for Gen Next, we see ourselves as engineers who are here to engineer solutions for the planet.

Our motto- "Engineering Real Engineers"- is a reflection of this as well.

So, when that engineering spirit of ours is naturally imbibed in us, showcasing our product at a community specific for people of our kind- THE ELECTRONICS GUYS- makes a lot of sense.

This culminated in us taking part in the recently concluded DIY Expo in Bengaluru. The DIY Expo, held as a part of India Electronics Week 2017,  was a major point of convergence for Makers, hobbyists and consumer electronics companies from across the globe and we intended to be a part of this happening event.

Aimed to be a boiling pot for ideas and innovations from the world of Electronics, this event was conducted between the 2nd and 4th of March, 2017 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Center, Bengaluru.

It was a one-of-a-kind event that saw six co-located shows, 18 conferences and workshops, 180-plus exhibitors, 10,000-plus visitors.

Being an International event, India Electronics Week (IEW) brought together the who’s who from the field of Technology. Featuring giants such as Intel and Microsoft, the event was a perfect exposure for Kidobotikz.

In all seven events were held together under the banner of India Electronics Week, which included

  1. Electronics For You Expo (7th edition)

  2. Electronics Rocks (5th edition)

  3. Test & Measurement India (6th edition)

  4. LEDasia.in (2nd edition)

  5. IoTshow.in (2nd edition)

  6. Raksha India (2nd edition)

  7. DIY Expo (1st edition)

Kidobotikz, which has carved a niche for itself by combining EdTech and Electronics, was a proud part of this rather gargantuan mix. It gave us greater pleasure to realize that among such a vast crowd, our products actually stood for having innovation built right into them. Situated at Booth No. ET-57, Kidobotikz saw a huge footfalls with visitors ranging from young college goers to esteemed Technocrats.

On the sidelines of the expo, there was also a conference that took place. With close to 200-plus speakers and 3,000-plus conference delegates, the conference was a major event in itself.

Mr. Rahul Mathur, Panelist, Kidobotikz’ Expert committee on Electronics and Faculty, gave a keynote speech on the importance of robotics. Speaking on the DIY (Do It Yourself) and the Maker Movement, he emphasized on how Robotics is making dramatic inroads in bringing together a holistic understanding of the field of STEM to students across the globe.

The event was a major platform to get up-close and hands-on with today’s most innovative technologies and applications. From 3D printing to robotics, and from assessment solutions to educational software, it hosted all the leading manufacturers and resellers— each featuring the latest technologies and newest products in the market. Standing out from the elite crowd in this place was a major milestone for Kidobotikz.

And this is just the beginning of a new trend of endless roadshows for Kidobotikz.
