India’s First Traffic Robot deployed by students from Thane is the new traffic police

As technology is advancing, it is predominant to care about one’s safety too on roads. Our students from SP Robotics Maker Lab - Thane came up with an idea for building - Roadeo. The main purpose of this invention is to make people realize the importance of traffic rules.

In this real world, everything seems to appear like a science fiction movie. Know what this Roadeo - will be the next generations of robots which helps students to discover new inventions.

This Roadeo was deployed by 5 school students who were guided by professionals to make Roadeo look like a human robot. Roadeo will create a state of being safe on the roads.

Deputy Commissioner of Police(Traffic), Thane, Amit Kale appreciated the students from SP Robotics Maker Lab - Thane for their invention and also helped in deploying Roaeo in Thane city. He believes that Roadeo will help in reducing the strenuous human effort involved in traffic management.

The whole assembly of Roadeo was categorized into 3 groups focusing on mechanical, electrical and programming. Each of us shared our knowledge to the team for building Roadeo - says the Thane Maker Lab students. They further added that they wanted to automate their SP Robotics Maker Lab with blue-tooth control app. That’s really cool guys!!

The students from SP Robotic Maker Lab seems exciting in working as a team with SP Robotics Maker Lab - Pune. They were in fact glad to get new friends in another city.

Thanks to Mr. Anand Vaidya and Mr. Dharshan from SP Robotics Maker Lab - Thane. Cheers to lot more innovative projects in future.
