Being a part of the EdTech Industry means that you are part of a movement that keeps evolving every day. Being a part of this EdTech industry, we at Kidobotikz believe that we are changing  the landscape of education everyday. However, the rewards we most desire to reap in are neither monetary nor clout. Our best rewards are when someone who haven't personally reached out to reach out to us and compliment us on our efforts and progress.

While Kidobotikz draws a lot of attention from the industry and stakeholders in academia, our real rewards are when our true benefactors, the student community, reaches out to us and conveys their feedback on the way of education we are trying to promote.

Goa, as a state, has far been appreciated or maligned (depends on one’s perspective) as a party state. Well, we have no one to blame except the mainstream media who have spent years showing only the Konkan coast (it's as if there's nothing other than beaches in Goa). None of us know what else is famous in Goa. We don’t know what is preferred in Goa or what sells. Well, after meeting up with a few students from Goa, we now know that Robotics sells ! Yes, Robotics is actively pursued in Goa’s schools and colleges!

That’s right! We are surprised too! So when a group of students came from Goa asking to know about us and what we do, we were delightfully surprised as well. These students representing various colleges in Goa were in Chennai to take part in IIT-Madras’ annual techno-management fest Shaastra. Forming a grouping amongst themselves, called SolTech, the students predominantly EEE and ECE engineers were at IIT to participate in various Robotics related contests. However, there was another agenda on their itinerary. They wanted to visit the organization that they’ve known on the internet but never seen them in person. These students who were loyal buyers of products from SP Robotic Works, Kidobotikz’ parent organization, wanted to know more about Kidobotikz, the product that brings robotics to the age group of middle-schoolers. After all, they were delightfully taken aback to find out that the concepts they learn in their college years are already being mastered by students in the 6th and 7th grade.

Kidobotikz, being the organization that encourages curious minds, wanted to give these enthusiast college students a peek into what goes behind the making of a unique product like Kidobotikz. They were given a tour of the engineering and production departments. They were also given a briefing as to how Kidobotikz developed the product.

The students had several questions ranging from “how to arrive at product configuration” to “how to create a successful team for a startup”. Giving them an apt perspective for all these queries was Ilayabharathy, Head, Planning & Production. Ilayabharathy, an early member of the team that was responsible for Kidobotikz gave these students a clear purview of how to build a team while bootstrapping and what factors to consider before scaling up.

The students concluded their visit by paying a visit to the R&D dept and the Kidobotikz Makerspace.

Kidobotikz is a leading EdTech startup offering Robotics Courses for students. Moving from a Robotics training Institute which conducted Robotics classes to a “Learn Robotics Online”, Kidobotikz today has 4 levels of Kits which offer Robotics for Kids. If the question on your mind is “How to learn robotics”, then the answer is Kidobotikz.
