With the weekend here, it’s finally time for catching up with friends and partners in mischief. However, as far as Kidobotikz is concerned the mischief and shenanigans are usually limited to the robots. The students take pleasure in enabling them though. Meanwhile, we are back at the makerspace where a bunch of young fellas have gathered to engage in what appears to be an interesting session of learning and roboting. Of course they are all plugged into their laptops and are learning through the digital platform of kidobotikz. They’re just here so that along with learning they can also engage in interesting conversations with their roboting buddies. Amidst all this we meet a young robotics enthusiast. He’s quite shy and has a very calm demeanor. Although engaging him in a chat reveals the other side of his which exudes in confidence. Meet Aryan, a young robotics enthusiast and our geek for the day.
Hey Aryan! Do you mind introducing yourself to our readers?
Hey everybody! I’m Aryan Nahar. I study in class 6 at Chinmaya Vidyalaya. Back here at Kidobotikz, I am in the foundation level.
Can you tell us how you came to know about kidobotikz? How did you feel becoming a Kidobotikzian?
Learning robotics has always been a dream for me. Even as a young guy, I dreamt about being able to learn how to build robots. However. It happened only with a stroke of coincidence.
My dad wanted came to know about Kidobotikz through a friend of his and he brought me here. I liked the place very much and joined here immediately. I have not looked back ever since.
What was your opinion of robotics before joining Kidobotikz? How has it changed after joining here?
For me the introduction to robotics happened the same way it happened for every young boy- through science fiction. My favourite superheroes are Iron Man and The Hulk. I’ve always been fascinated by Iron Man’s suit. But I assumed that, to be able to build something that complicated, it needed a lot of technology. After joining Kidobotikz, I realized that the technology for the same exists already. It’s only upto to us to work on it and develop it more.
Impressive! So, what kinda robots capture your imagination?
RC Cars, Humanoids and drones are my favourite kind of robots. In particular the ASIMO series of humanoids from Honda captivate me.
What do you plan to do in future with your knowledge of robotics?
Well, I haven’t planned much. I wanna do a lot of things. I want to do everything from building apps to to interesting electronics- anything that can help make our lives easier. But I have not decided what I will do particularly for higher studies or career. But it will probably related to the field of robotics. That I can say for sure.
What do your friends think about roboting and about you learning robotics?
My friends are impressed by the world of robotics. They also know that I learn robotics at Kidobotikz. Some of them were willing to join here as well. And a few of them did join here.
Kidobotikz is a leading EdTech startup offering Robotics Courses for students. Moving from a Robotics training Institute which conducted Robotics classes to a “Learn Robotics Online”, Kidobotikz today has 4 levels of Kits which offer Robotics for Kids. If the question on your mind is “How to learn robotics”, then the answer is Kidobotikz.
