Competitions may be one of the most contentious and misunderstood topics in education. Should our students compete? What about collaboration? Doesn't competition create winners and losers? Is it ok if someone loses? Doesn’t it create too much pressure? It’s hard to know what to believe when it comes to competitions in education because there is so much misinformation and seemingly conflicting research studies on this topic. But here are 5 reasons why you should be part of every challenge and  why you should view it.

Concentrating on studies is obviously important during your school/college days. But taking part in the competition will enhance your skills and at the same time, you will have great exposure outside. It will be the much-needed break you will ever want.
