There’s nothing more rewarding the than the being accorded recognition for one’s efforts in initiatives. It is all the more rewarding this sort of a recognition is received from somebody we’ve looked up to all these days.

Kidobotikz as a company was set up with the prime motive of promoting the knowledge of robotics and STEM education as a whole among the student community. Ever since inception, we’ve grown from strength to strength with hundreds of young school students signing up for our robotics course. We view this as a great accomplishment as many of these young minds have gone on to do some impressive work with their robotics knowledge. We’re also churning an ever increasing number of students-turned-roboticists with each passing day.

While all of these gives us immense happiness, one thing that has always alluded us is to know the opinion of the very community whose pedagogies we are trying to change- the teaching community.

All of that changed last week. It changed in a manner that will be spoken about for sometime to come. We at Kidobotikz were taken in for a surprise when we received a call from the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Anna University stating that our activities among the student community has been observed by their panellists and they were interested to know more about Kidobotikz  and how this model of teaching robotics to school students had taken off.

This culminated in a visit-cum-seminar on the 25th of November with the faculty of Engineering colleges from the state of Tamil Nadu. 50 HoDs from various reputed engineering colleges from the city of Chennai and around visited the offices of Kidobotikz. They were given a tour of the journey of Kidobotikz from a classroom based Robotics education institution to a Online Robotics education provider with a pan-India and global reach.

After a brief tour of Kidobotikz and its production facilities, the visiting HoDs were given an introduction about Kidobotikz and its product offerings. They were also apprised of how the robotics kits from Kidobotikz have circumvented the conventional learning trajectory of students and have introduced them to core concepts of engineering and technology.

The guests, who were all praise for the community initiatives of Kidobotikz, were keen on understanding how an online course learnt from the confines of a home could keep a student engaged in the activity of learning for hours at an end. To this query, they were explained about the salient features of the Kidobotikz online platform, which with its elements of AI and gamification ensured that the activity of learning was engaging and informative. The guests were also apprised  about the ability of the learning platform to keep track of a student’s learning progress and identify his/her strengths and weaknesses identified during the learning process.

Kidobotikz is a leading EdTech startup offering Robotics Courses for students. Moving from a Robotics training Institute which conducted Robotics classes to a “Learn Robotics Online”, Kidobotikz today has 4 levels of Kits which offer Robotics for Kids. If the question on your mind is “How to learn robotics”, then the answer is Kidobotikz.
