On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, The Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India and Unity Technologies are organising a Virtual Reality (VR) competition to celebrate Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary. The contest is open to school, college, university students as well as VR Professionals. The price money for this competition is 1 lakh rupees.

The core objective of the VR Hackathon is to develop awareness about Virtual Reality and its related applications, along-with prospective job opportunities in the same field. It will open new options for fresh talent. It is a great initiative from DD to boost local talent in emerging technologies.
