Q: Hey Siddharth! Do you mind introducing yourself to our readers?

I’m Siddharth! I study in class 9 at Modern Senior Secondary School. In Kidobotikz, I am in the  Advance level.

Q: What got you interested in Robotics?

I love electronics a lot. My dad is also from the electronics background. So, I guess that  got into me as a child. Robotics was a natural progression of that interest.

Q: Can you tell us what led you to join Kidobotikz?

Well, the credit for me joining Kidobotikz goes to my dad. Seeing my interest in learning new things and experimenting with everyday objects, he started looking out for a way to put my curiosity to good use. After searching around online a bit, he stumbled upon the Kidobotikz website. He then brought me here to see if I was interested. I was also amazed at the chance of learning robotics and other cool stuff. So, with my dad's fullest confidence, I joined Kidobotikz. 

Q: What impact has Kidobotikz had on you ? Has your understanding of concepts changed? 

I love being able to learn amazing concepts everyday. I ensure that I complete the allotted limit of two chapters a day everyday. Kidobotikz has helped me get to know about my concepts in a fundamental manner. It gives a very different perspective to my own studies. If they let me do more chapters, I would happily complete a lot more chapters in a single day. 

Q: What was the idea behind your Bot?

My Bot is a Wall-Detector robot. It has an impact sensor on its front. Whenever it bumps into a wall, the buzzer goes off. This automatically makes the robot come to a halt and save itself from further damage. This has various potential applications. It can be used in Cars to detect impact to avoid collision. It can also be used in walking sticks used by the blind. It can help them avoid obstacles.   

Q: What are your ambitions in life? What do you intend to do with the knowledge gained in robotics?

I have not decided where to study after my school. But I wanna do something in the field of technology, robotics in particular, as that's where my interests lie.
